Young Professionals in Training (YPiT) is a college pipeline program that exposes underserved students in 5th – 12th grade to college and professional careers. YPiT focuses on professional development, academic excellence, and increasing exposure to college and multiple careers. Students meet once a month to discuss different career areas, serve their communities, participate in Social & Emotional learning exercises, and so much more. YPiT provides mentoring from current undergraduate students at Auburn University, opportunities of civic engagement and community service, and college and career preparation. The goal of YPiT is to empower the participants and offer a pathway to Auburn University and other opportunities that will prepare them to become successful and productive citizens.
