The Office of Sustainability and Kreher Preserve and Nature Center (KPNC) invite volunteers to participate in Plant Ahead: A Tree Planting Event. Participants will plant trees and learn about forestry practices, Alabama’s native flora, and how to properly plant trees while enjoying the preserve. There will be a short information session preceding the event! Registration is requested, but not required, on the Office of Sustainability GivePulse, which includes details on what to wear and bring. Please arrive at the KPNC parking lot at 2222 N College St on Thursday, February 1st at 2:30 PM. (This is the updated date due to inclement weather.)
