ACT with Honors is hosting an informal ?virtual? student-led fun run/walk in support of the Arthritis Foundation?s Jingle Bell Run. This is not a formal or traditional structured race hosted. There will be no formal race infrastructure for this event. We do not plan on having timing systems, volunteers, road closures, water stations, medical tents, medals, or an official finish line. No awards will be given, and no competitive elements are being organized. ACT with Honors is simply encouraging Auburn students who choose to participate in the virtual option to sign up through the Arthritis Foundation?s official registration portal and join our team. Registration fees go directly to the Arthritis Foundation; ACT with Honors is not collecting any funds.
To build community, ACT with Honors is offering an optional meet-up for students who would like to complete their virtual 5K together. Participants may run, jog, or walk. Students who register are not required to attend this meet-up and may complete their virtual 5K independently at a time and place of their choosing.
