8:00 - 8:30 Check in next to Ballroom
8:30 - 8:45 Welcome in Ballroom - We will cast a vision for the mini-conference and send the students to their first breakouts.
9:00 - 9:30 Session 1 (break outs in rooms 2216, 2218, 2225, 2227) - Students will choose from break out sessions located throughout the student center. They will hear from women in STEM about issues they have faced in their careers, their research, and the opportunities STEM has opened up for them.
9:45 - 10:15 Session 2 (same break out rooms)
10:15 - 11:00 Career corner and exhibitor showcase in 2222/2223 - We will have various hands-on STEM exhibits and representatives from STEM departments around campus. We will also have representatives the university’s Financial Aid and Admissions offices to answer questions.
11:00 - 11:30 Session 3 - Break outs
11:30 - 1:00 Lunch and speaker(s) in ballroom - Tiger Catering is catering the meal. Our panel will start around 12:00. Event concludes after lunch.
