The story of climate change is one of opportunity and possibility, not doom and gloom.  So declares Project Drawdown, arguably the most comprehensive and informed plan ever produced to reverse global warming.

This year’s Sustainability Speaker Series presents Project Drawdown’s Executive Director, Dr. Jonathan Foley, as he explains that it is possible to achieve a livable, stable climate.

Dr. Foley is a world-renowned environmental scientist, sustainability expert, author, and public speaker. His work focuses on understanding our changing planet and finding new solutions to sustain the climate, ecosystems, and natural resources we all depend on.

The event is Monday, March 18th, 2024, in the Langdon Hall Auditorium at Auburn University starting at 7:00 PM. Time for questions and answers will follow before wrapping up at 8:30 PM. Free parking is available downtown after 6:00 PM.

This Sustainability Speaker Series event is co-sponsored by Samuel Ginn College of Engineering and the Office of Sustainability.
