The purpose of this event is to promote community service, student wellness, and connection among Auburn University students while celebrating the end of the semester before finals week. The AUCON Summer Send-Off and Blood Drive brings together nursing students and the broader Auburn University main campus community to give back through blood donation while also providing a fun and supportive environment for students to relax and connect. The event will include a community blood drive where participants can donate blood and receive food, drinks, and Kona Ice vouchers, with Kona Ice also available for self-pay during the event. In addition, the summer send-off celebration will feature music, refreshments, outdoor games such as soccer, putt-putt, and cornhole, chalk activities, bubbles, photo opportunities with a balloon arch and banner, and a badge reel-making station where students can create personalized badge reels using provided supplies. The event aims to encourage service, foster community, and support student well-being ahead of finals and the summer break.
