All students selected to compete will perform one original song for a live audience at the event, and judges will determine finalists for a second and final round.  The winner of the event will perform a third and final song to close the event.  The winner will receive $500 and the two finalists will receive $250 each.  Hosts for the evening will be Professors of Practice Jilla Webb and Khari Allen Lee of the Department of Music’s Commercial Music Program. 

Student performers include Samuel Borchers, Emily Branch, Austin Carmichael, Anna Colson, Cat Hall, Wren Horstmann, Walter Lloyd, Luke Partain, Tyler Peek, Olivia Schaff, and Catie Tucker.
