The Alabama VEX IQ Event Region Championship is an event for Middle School competitive robotics teams who have advanced from local tournaments throughout the robotics season. Sixty-four teams from Alabama Middle Schools will compete to earn up to eight spots to the
VEX Robotics World Championship hosted in April in St. Louis, Missouri. The teams will arrive on Friday afternoon, to go through inspection and get started on their skills runs and matches. On Saturday, skills and matches will continue until the afternoon, when finals matches begin and we await to see who has been crowned the Alabama VEX IQ tournament champions.
We will contact campus dining for concessions options for teams and audience members. Teams must pay an entrance fee to participate; however, the event is open to the public.
