DESCRIPTION:The Invention Convention Alabama (ICA) state competition will b
 ring 250 students in grades 5-12 from across Alabama to showcase their uniq
 ue invention\, receive feedback from judges involved in the field\, and mee
 t other inventors/students. Prior to the event\, students will be required 
 to complete a registration\, identify and provide contact information for a
  guardian\, and complete a MOC/Media Release form. This event includes stud
 ent inventors\, mentor teachers\, parents\, judges\, community partners\, a
 nd volunteers. We expect about 1\,000 attendees to our second annual statew
 ide Invention Convention on April 18th\, 2026. All inventions must follow R
 TX Invention Convention US Nationals powered by The Henry Ford Official Rul
 es (thehenryford.org/docs/default-source/icw-documents/thf-icusn-2025-offic
 ial-rules-4-3-25-v4.pdf). Prior to the awards ceremony in the afternoon\, s
 tudents and guardians will take down displays. Then\, the event will culmin
 ate in an Awards Ceremony held in ACLC 012 that will end no later than 4:30
 pm.
